The rear looks a lot like the previous generation Accord Coupe, though that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Oh wait.

How badass would this thing be with a 6-speed, the Earth Dreams 3.5, and SH-AWD?

It looks good, but eh.

I don’t like the new corporate “nose”, the fake vents don’t look good and the wheels are lame. Other than that...

Boring.
And a coupe that is not gorgeous has no purpose, and no excuse for not being gorgeous. Might as well just get the sedan, then... or more likely, neither.
The point of having two fewer doors, and less passenger practicality is that there is either better performance with lighter weight than a sedan, or fewer impediments to better aesthetics, and more streamlining. That is without even going into the issue about not having a fastback hatch for better cargo practicality than a trunk lid on a 2-door coupe or 4-door sedan.
Without either one of those advantages, this is a coupe without a purpose, no better than Scion tC (especially 2nd gen), and the old Toyota Solara.

The coupe is lighter than the sedan, and handles better and has a higher power-to-weight ratio. And IIRC, the coupe is on a slightly different platform.

A couple of pounds don’t make a huge difference, and the car is still bulky.
“handles better” is relative... relative to a sedate, boring mid-line FWD sedan... as a boring, sedated, mid-line purposeless coupe with no compelling reason to exist, which a coupe has no excuses NOT to have... aside from uninspired execution from an appliance manufacturer.
Coupes are not as practical as other body styles, and not as “lifestyle” appealing as convertibles that can put the top down.
Without some PASSION built in, especially aesthetically, and in terms of driving dynamics, there is no reason to buy a coupe otherwise.
This car isn’t half what the old Prelude used to be, let alone actually compelling with AWD capability, or RWD performance advantage. It is the same old Fail-wheel-drive, topped with a helping of boredom, because it is cheaper to build it that way.
This product is an AFTERTHOUGHT. An ALSO-RAN. A weak attempt. I am not sure which is worse... that sort of dis-service to what a coupe is actually capable of being, or just not having one at all.
And reducing the wheelbase from an Accord sedan, because there are two fewer doors, does NOT qualify as a “slightly different platform.” That is a body-style variation. A platform change would need to be more significant than that.
